Expendable manifests itself in the idea of dualism. In the understanding of dualism, potential is created by opposites. In a constant process of spending potential, new potential is created again and again. The unique use becomes the constant of expendable reality. The morphology of the expendable city is based on the principle of architecture designed to be used only once. This omnipresent process of using resources and potential leaves behind a structure of abandonment. The search for new potentials demands a constant movement of the city. The continuous creation of new structures requires a constant adaptation of the inhabitants to their environment. The collective measures itself by the appropriation of immaterial goods, which are neither abandoned nor destroyed.
