nomad (n.)

From French nomade, from Latin nomas (wandering shepherd), from Ancient Greek (nomás, roaming, wandering, esp. to find pasture), from Ancient Greek (nomós, pasture).

The water point is reached only in order to be left behind; every point is a relay and exists only as a relay. A path is always between two points, but the in-between has taken on all the consistency and enjoys both autonomy and a direction of its own. The life of the nomad is the intermezzo.

Driven by external influences nomad's existence is the necessity of constant movement. Nomad trajectory is cyclic between relays forming a non-permanent territory.
